Katie Holmes has arrived in New York City ahead of her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.
The actress was photographed around the Big Apple on Wednesday and Thursday.
Previews for the show – Holmes’ Broadway debut – start Sept. 18 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The play also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson and will officially open on Oct. 16.
Holmes, 29, will be in the production for 16 weeks. She and hubby Tom Cruise plan to stay in the city during that time.
“Katie’s not a celebrity type,” the play’s producer Eric Falkenstein has said. “She’s done brilliant work in films like Pieces of April and The Ice Storm.”
The actress’ character, Ann, is a woman who visits the family of her former lover, a missing pilot.
Ticket prices for the Saturday and Sunday matinees will go as high as $116.50, with Wednesday matinees selling for $111.50.
Based on advance ticket sales, Holmes has been underselling Cruise’s ex Nicole Kidman.
Holmes will also make a guest appearance on ABC’s Eli Stone this fall. -us weekly
